Simon grew up in the Loire Valley, France, in the 80’s. As a child he was always intrigued by the Minolta camera used by his father to capture family moments.

After completing his Engineering degree in Lyon, Simon settled in the Middle East (Bahrain) for 8 years, working as an Engineer. His passion for Photography started there, triggered by the beauty of the desertic landscapes. After a couple of years of practice, he started to work as a freelance photographer for local businesses and magazines, shooting documentary and portraits. During his many trips to Africa, Asia and Oceania, he also developed a strong taste for landscape photography, spending countless hours on remote locations, waiting for the “perfect light”.

Now settled in Amsterdam, Simon keeps exploring his passion, mostly as a Street and Landscape photographer.

Gear used over the years: Nikon D80, Canon 5D, Fujifilm X-T3 (current) with various prime lenses.
